Sin and Temptation

This being the third week of my new employment... I know enough about how things are done around here to be tempted with little sins and rule stretchings. In my office the dress code is business casual - dress shirts and ties; no jackets. However, in my room at the office... Both the VP and other guy I work with closely neglect the tie. They only put them on when our boss, the Chairman, comes in from London.

Do I join the dark side? Do I toadie?

Speaking of the Dark Side... Sin City is trying to spread it's influence over me. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Association has a Chicago branch. (how's that a slap in the face for the home of the nations largest convention center? For more on the Chicago vs Las Vegas rivalry go here.) The LVCVA is having a schmoozefest at the Cubs home opener. They've rented out one of the Cubby Bear's rooftops. And they invited me plus one guest. I guess I started planning an event in Vegas just in time.
