Hot Potatoe
I've been watching the corporate version of hot potatoe all day. I've seen the same stack of papers get moved around the office at least 8 or 9 times today as each person either sends it to another person for review or information or decision. I was included on one information loop. It just got kicked out of our room for somebody else to take to the CEO.
If he decides in the affirmative (the "good customer service" solution) it will return to me for processing. If he decides in the negative (the "stick to corporate policy" solution) it will get passed one or two more times more than likely back to the person who started the whole mess. Either way, somebody will get yelled at, and I'm 99% certain it won't be me.
**Update** It just got kicked back to our room to fester. It seems somebody chickened out, and wants going to do another information loop. However, the people he wants information from... aren't here today.
At least the game will start up another day... I'm thinking of it as a rain delay or the seventh inning stretch. "Buy me some peanuts or cracker jacks... I don't care if we ever get back..."

Yo great to see you this past weekend man. I think your two liter bottle is still sitting on our porch, half full and ready to be vanquished. I'll leave out how many casualties went before it.
dude... what was with the 6am phone call the other day? hahaha didn't matter to me, actually... I had just gone to bed at 5:30. did you find Smut-n-Eggs? and WHY didn't you tell me you were going to be in Madtown for the weekend? i would've at least attempted a visit!
It was definitely good to see you. Smut and eggs was a success. You're a fantastic spooner, and I don't know how three of us fit on Burbs' bed. You should come down for Mix's 21st next week....let me know
