Irony?

I decided that I would take Thursday and Friday off as sick days to play hookie. (seeing as I have to wait two more months for my vacation days to kick in...) I have been hacking and coughing since 36 hours after making that decision.

The RRR is still high on my priority list, though if i'm too nasty on Friday I'll have to drive up Saturday morning... ish.

Question my motives

Question of the Day: If you're planning it in advance, is it still hookie?

In honor of Heather completing her internship downtown we're going to play hookie on both Thursday and Friday this week. At least one, if not both days will be spent in Chicago, though we may spend a day out in the 'burbs if we feel like there's anything to do.

Besides recreating 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' any personal favorites for hookie activities especially if they're located in Chicago proper? We've got a bunch of ideas, but I'd like to see what you all suggest.
