New music is central to a good "I'm cooler than you" vibe
I just found NPR's "All Songs Considered: Open Mic"
Check out some fresh music.

What doesn't kill me...
An off hand observation with my mother has led me to contemplate the conceit of my youth. My indiscretions are too numerous to count, suffice it to say... I was young and stupid once. It is almost certain that I still am. In another ten years I'll count my offenses. Hopefully the tally will then reflect that I've continued to make mistakes and learn.

Lagrange Point
Bonfires have a natural spot where balance between hot and cold are balanced.
The art is in maintaining that balance

archives
Before I left aiesec.ws I grabbed a copy of all my blog entries I created there. I've been working every now and again to make them pretty and such. But that takes too long. They're available on the sidebar now, in a somewhat readable format. If i get time, the'll be prettified. I'd rather have them available and ugly instead of inaccessible.

subsidized study
my studying is now sponsored by the local paper. i am paid to sit, read, study or otherwise entertain myself waiting for the coaches of various high school teams to call in scores and statistics. during my first three shifts of four hours each, i've answered the phone an average of once per hour.
weather or not
striding away from my east asian cultures class the cool weather seemed to muffle all sound. like a preview of that peace found just after a slow snowfall.
unable to take it, i found refuge in hot soup and a sideline seat at a soccer match. apparently my school has sporting teams. at least 4 distinct languages were bellowed on the field, hopefully scaring away the looming spirits of snowfall.

Time is inescapable
Want to get in a halloweenie mood? How about some pictures of creepy closed down places.
It's almost as good as exploring these places yourself... and nearly as spppooooooky!

weather
For some reason, today's weather reminded me of many goodbyes in cold and distant parking lots after many a AIESEC roadtrip.

I feel that way too, but i'm too polite to say it
for the second time in a week i'm listening to a ''this is how to use the library and how to do research'' presentation. snoooze. it's boring.
there's a kid in the back who's snoring.
when i heard it... i looked back to see... our teacher laughing. she's not even helping this poor librarian doing the presentation. how's that for solidarity?
